Nexorate is a full-featured marketplace platform built for the African market, enabling users to buy, sell, and swap items across multiple categories including Phones, Cars, Fashion, Properties, Electronics, Personals, Jobs, Services, Repair & Construction, Animal & Pet, Food & Agric, and Beauty. The platform features a complete user authentication system with Google OAuth and email/password login, real-time listing-based messaging, a smart recommendation engine that personalizes product suggestions based on user behavior (views, searches, category clicks), and a paid boost system allowing sellers to promote their listings with tiered plans (Basic ₦500/3d → Ultimate ₦7,000/30d). Key features include a 5-star rating and review system, real-time notification center with unread badges, Cloudinary-powered image uploads, search with smart filtering (synonyms, typo correction), and a comprehensive admin dashboard for managing users, listings, reports, and analytics. The platform also tracks user activity to power personalized recommendations and features a modern, mobile-first UI with glass-morphism design, dark hero sections, and carousel-based product displays.
